Assignment 3: Intercultural Task

You will be required to design and implement a task based on Byram’s ICC descriptors (2021) and Liddicoat’s pedagogical sequence (2008) to implement an intercultural orientation. The implementation requires you to:
1. Indicate the population and course where the application takes place
2. Establish the objectives of the task: linguistic, functional, and intercultural
3. Describe the procedures and materials used
4. Describe the results of the implementation of the intercultural task
5. Reflect about the whole experience making connections with at least 3 authors that we discussed in class.
The submission of this assignment includes:
1. A video clip where you will present the steps followed above and socialize with your classmates and myself your experience. This video will be posted on below. After making your post, you will watch at least two more videos from your classmates and react to their experiences through a written post of at least 150 words.
Grading Criteria:
The paper will be graded on the basis of:
• Compliance with prompt
• Reply with meaningful comments to at least two classmates
• Quality of implementation: showing understanding of Byram’s model and Liddicoat’s pedagogical proposal.
• Quality of video design: sound, images, pace.
• Clarity of argument and development
• Inclusion of required references
• Language use (Formal aspects of grammar, syntax)
• Timely delivery (you will be docked off 3% points per day after the paper is due)
Delivery form: Online. Paste on this blog. Date: May 4, 2022 and make comments before Friday May 6. The blog will close after that date.
This assignment is worth 50% of the course grade.
